'The curious paradox is that when I accept myself,
just as I am, then I can change.’ ----Carl Rodgers PhD

Life happens and challenges come up. Maybe it’s old stuff; issues of childhood that have an impact now or a traumatic event that has not healed. Maybe its brand new; grieving the loss of a relationship or struggling as a new mother. Maybe you feel stuck in a pattern of being or feeling, and need to find a new way.

My strength-based approach blends traditional psychotherapy with a mind-body techniques (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, guided imagery, meditation) to help clients resolve current stress, release long-standing emotional and behavioral patterns and develop tools to use outside the therapy session when emotional challenges come up.

I believe in individuals’ resilience and strength, and my focus is to connect my clients with that inner guidance. My style is interactive and optimistic, and supports clients in trusting themselves in this process.

Finding a good match with a therapist is so important. Feel free to call me for a phone consultation, which is no charge and can give you a real sense of my style and if it will work for you
